yes, we've known each other
for a long time

when we were still young
you were a friend
a special one actually

but you and i
we grew apart
three years blew by

finally we picked up, where we left off
the closer we got, the harder became
the situation

i got someone, you got yours too
at times when you fought
i was there for you
and when it was my turn
you were there too

i really cant describe
what i was feeling back then
it wasn't possible
it never will be

the feeling's still here
every time i see you
the happiness i feel
is beyond measure

and so i still think about
what might have happened
if i just hadn't stopped
things would be different
very very different...
